About the organization
Public association of social protection of invalids with renal diseases Nephron (PASPIRD Nephron) was founded in 2002 and registered by the Department of Justice of the Gomel regional executive committee on November 19, 2003 (registration certificate 03-0255).
PASPIRD Nephron unites more than 100 members. The members of the PASPIRD Nephron are the invalids of the 1 and 2 groups suffering from renal insufficiency and treated with replacement renal therapy peritoneal dialysis and haemodialysis (connection to artificial kidney for 4 hours 3 times a week) for life. The members of the invalids' families with renal diseases and medical workers working in the sphere of replacement renal therapy are also the members of the PASPIRD Nephron.
The main purpose of the PASPIRD Nephron activity is to integrate the organization members' efforts in social protection of the invalids with renal diseases and to improve the well-being of their families because most of them can't work and their pensions are small. To achieve this aim the PASPIRD Nephron interacts with different charitable organizations, funds and other organizations, receives and distributes humanitarian and other help, co-operates and exchanges experience with analogous organizations on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and outside it, co-operates with medical and rehabilitation institutions, institutions of social protection of the invalids of the Republic of Belarus in rehabilitation and preserving the health of the members of the PASPIRD Nephron.
The PASPIRD Nephron offers co-operations to all the interested persons and organizations and would be thankful for any help given to our assotiation.
